This year I'm having a joint birthday party with my school friends Yuina and Nina. We're all 5 this year! It's at my house and we decided that this year's theme is "Garden Party", so on Saturday morning I started to make some of the decorations. Mummy cut them out, but I stuck everything together all by myself! I made enough flowers to decorate the whole room!
今年の誕生会はスクールの友達と一緒に３人のパーティにするよ。皆５歳！私のうちでやることにして、テーマを「ガーデンパーティ」にしたから、土曜日の朝から飾り付けを始めた。Mummyが形を切り抜いたけど、私は一人で全部を張り合わせたよ。部屋を全部飾れるぐらい作ったよ！

午後から友達のYちゃんが準備のお手伝いにお泊まりに来ました。明日来てくれるお客さんのパーティバッグを、リサイクルの気持ちで、店の紙袋から自分たちで絵の具で飾ったりして、頑張って作りました！
In the afternoon, my friend Y came over to stay to help get ready for our party. We made our own recycled party bags by painting some paper shopping bags by ourselves.
Then we helped make chocolate marshmallows, and other treats.
そしてお菓子作りの手伝いもした。
And a welcome sign just in case all the balloons weren't enough to let people know where the party was!
そしてお客さんは家が分かるように、ウェルカムボードも作りました。
Thanks to Y'S Mummy, we had helium filled balloons. Some of them floated weirdly in mid air.
Yちゃんのママのおかげで、ヘリウムで風船を膨らませた。変に中ぐらいの高さで浮いていたのもあったけど。
But with lots of colourful balloons floating around the room, we were all ready to go!!
でも天井がいろんな色の風船で見えなくなってしまったら、準備は完了！
