Last weekend I got to take part in my part time play schools annual sports day! We went with the K Family. It was great to be out and running around for the first time in ages, but for the first time since we left Scotland, it was actually quite cold!

At first I thought I would have to sit out some of the things I hadn't practised, but they let me take part in everything in the end. I had a great day.
Note that the combined athletic prowess of the K and I families helped the green team to a resounding win in the parent/child relay! Thankfully Mummy recognised her own strengths and opted to be the team photographer!

先週K家と時々行く保育園の運動会に参加をしてきました。久しぶりに一日外で過ごして、気持ちよかった。だけど、スコットランドから帰ってきて以来、初めて「寒い！！」と思った！
最初は練習していないイベントに参加できないと思ったけど、結局全部一緒に参加させてくれた。とても楽しかった！その日の写真を上で見たら、I家とK家の合わせた力で、ミドリチームのリレー優勝を決めることが出来たことを確認しててね。Mummyは自分の強いところと弱いところを意識しているから、走らないで、写真係になった！
My friend I's nursery were having their sports day in the next field, so when we met the F family by chance there, we ended up going back to their neighbourhood festival to watch the traditional dances at the local shrine by a great bonfire! Good end to a great day!

友達のIくんの保育園も同じところで運動会をやっていたことに気付いた。偶然F家に出会ったら、そちの家の近くの秋祭りに一緒にお邪魔することになった。神楽があって、とても楽しかった！いい一日だった！
